I am sooo not looking forward to Thanksgiving. My family, well my mom, has gone off the deep end and I'm not in the mood to deal with it. She's been in chronic pain with spinal cord compression for a long time and the docs finally said if she doesn't have surgery, she's going to be paralyzed...BUT if she does have surgery, there's a 50/50 chance she'll be paralyzed anyway. There's a lot of other crap too, but to make a long story short, I think she's poisoning herself with the medicine she's on. She's taking double and triple doses and acting really weird.
She walked out on my stepdad the other night...just left. That is NOT like her. She came back tonight and they're talking so we'll see what happens.
Thanksgiving should be a real treat. My brother has threatened me if I don't show up. I have to work Wednesday and leave for home from there. It's a 3 hour drive. Then I'll help cook until the wee hours and then leave by 4 on Thursday. THEN, I have to be at work at 6 on Friday. Sooooo not looking forward to this.
Pray for me. :)

I am a friend of Novy's and I hear about Lola all the time. I swear my dog gives me strength so I pray you have it for the Thanksgiving dinner you are going to experience. I can't believe my Lola is so famous. She really does make me happy. I cried when the sitter picked her up tonight. She LOVES to go there and play with the other dogs so it makes it easier on me. :)
