Baths

Yes, baths. They are a great luxury. I tend to take them for granted, though. I love to take a bubble bath and read. It's very relaxing. When my cocker spaniel, Max was alive, he would lay beside the tub and "guard" it for me. When he thought maybe I'd been in a little too long, he would get up and put his head on the side of the tub to check on me. Lola doesn't do that. I think she knows that was Max's job and she just waits in the bedroom for me to get out. She's probably too busy with other things, but I like to think that's why she doesn't lie down in front of the tub and wait for me. Max was without a doubt, the best cocker spaniel ever. It's still hard to talk about him. Maybe one day I'll tell you all about him.
