I absolutely love this show and cry almost every week. It makes you realize that the human spirit is still alive and well. There are so many people out there who have it much worse than I do, and yet there are days when I whine and moan about my crappy life. I have my health and the means to get off my duff and lose weight and enjoy myself. Yet it's so easy to just sit on the couch and just play on the computer. I took Lola for a long walk today and I'm so proud of myself for getting out of the house. Good grief, I should be out and about. This show makes you realize that there is so much that I could be doing for others. I don't volunteer, and I really should. I would love to get involved in a church here, but none are close to my church at the beach. Instead of making excuses, I just need to do something! Maybe I'll go volunteer at the animal shelter. I love dogs, but I go in and I want to take them all home! There's always something and I'm ashamed that I can find an excuse for my laziness at every turn.
God Bless the family that's on EMHO tonight. They are wonderful people who deserve this new and beautiful home.
