It's baseball season boys and girls!! I am a baseball fan. I love the Boston RedSox. I enjoy the Pittsburgh Pirates. Can you tell I have a thing for underdogs? Right now I'm watching the Mets and the Nationals just to watch baseball.
I've survived losing my absolute favorite player to the enemy. It was hard, but I had some help along the way. The dh was no help during this turbulent time. He still gets upset that I talk about Johnny Damon. I can't help it. I love how he plays the game and the Yankees are trying to change that. JD was beloved in Boston...absolutely adored like no one else and he gave that up and left us for the Yankees. I'm not ashamed to say I cried. Like a baby. I almost called into work that day! I just believed in him and he broke my heart. He broke thousands of hearts. I'm much better with it. I have faith in my Sox. I LOVE Beckett! He has passion and fire. He's going to be the next Schilling. I can feel it. I adore Tek. He's all man and he's such a quiet and fierce leader. I admire Tito. He's such a good skipper. He really cares about his guys. I could go on...Schilling, Trot, Wake. All quality guys. Let's go boys and let's shut up all the doubters!
