Halloween Etiquette
I think it's the unwritten Halloween rule that if the porch light is not on, you don't ring the doorbell. Apparently not everyone knows that. Some doofus and her kid ring my doorbell at 9 last night. First of all Trick or Treating was from 6-8 so 9 is a little late. Second there were NO outside lights on. I don't do Halloween in any way, shape or form so I don't give out candy...call me a Halloween grinch if you want, I just don't enjoy the holiday. I felt bad for the kid, but I just wanted to smack the mom.
