Well, it seems like the deal for the Japanese pitching sensation is imminent. I really hope he lives up to the hype. I am soooooooooo ready for Spring Training. I miss the boys.
In related news, Gabe Kapler has retired. Not the best player on the Sox, but a real stand up guy. He will be managing not far from me in Greenville, SC. I'm definitely going to have to take a little road trip to give him some support!
Also, the Sox re-signed Doug Mirabelli. I do enjoy Dougie, but hon, we need you to be a little more productive this year, umKay??
